Lane Equipment Becomes Authorized Broaster Dealer in Texas
Lane Equipment Company has been named an authorized dealer for Broaster Company, the inventor of commercial pressure-frying. Texas operators now have direct access to the full Broaster equipment line — pressure fryers, ventless countertop fryers, the Smokaroma smoker, Instant Burger, heated merchandisers, and accessories — backed by Lane Equipment's factory-trained technicians and 24/7 service across Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and the Rio Grande Valley.

Lane Equipment Company has been named an authorized dealer for Broaster Company, the Beloit, Wisconsin manufacturer that invented commercial pressure-frying. The agreement gives operators across Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and the Rio Grande Valley direct access to Broaster's full equipment line, factory-trained installation, and 24/7 service from Lane Equipment's in-house technicians.

The partnership opens a new category for our customers who want to add a fried-chicken, fried-foods, or smoked-meats program without the labor, ventilation, or oil-cost penalties of traditional fryers.

A 70-Year Heritage of Pressure-Frying Innovation

Broaster Company was founded in 1954 when inventor L.A.M. Phelan patented the first commercial pressure fryer, combining pressure cooking and deep frying into a single appliance and trademarking the cooking method as Broasting®. Today, more than 5,000 licensed locations across all 50 states and 54 countries serve Genuine Broaster Chicken® on Broaster equipment, making it one of the most recognized and longest-running foodservice technology brands in the world.

The advantage is simple: pressure-frying seals juices into the protein while cutting cook times, oil absorption, and shrinkage versus open frying. For Texas operators, that translates directly into faster service, higher yields per pound, longer oil life, and a finished product that consistently outperforms standard deep fryers on quality.

Seven Equipment Categories Now Available Through Lane Equipment

Lane Equipment is stocking and supporting all seven of Broaster's equipment categories at every Texas location.

1. E-Series Pressure Fryers

Broaster's flagship pressure fryer. The E-Series 24G features auto-lift, automatic oil filtration, an 11-minute cook cycle for up to 64 pieces of bone-in chicken, up to 35% gas savings, and 4× oil life versus competitive units.

2. Standard Pressure Fryers

The proven Broaster 1600, Broaster 1800, and Broaster 2400 — gas or electric, with SmartTouch controls and footprints starting at 3.2 sq ft to fit tight kitchens. Pair with the Broaster Ventless Hood System (with built-in Ansul R-102 fire suppression) where a hood can't be installed.

3. Ventless Countertop Fryers

The VF-2 and VF-3 put a 100-menu-item programmable fryer on a countertop with built-in fire suppression, auto-lift baskets, and Auto-Comp oil management — ideal for c-stores, ghost kitchens, and concept expansions where venting is cost-prohibitive.

4. Smokaroma Pressure Smoker

The Smokaroma smokes up to 45 lb of ribs in under 90 minutes with 40% less shrinkage than open smoking, fully portable on casters.

5. Instant Burger

The Instant Burger cooks two burgers in under a minute, 200+ per hour, with no flipping, no splatter, and no hood required — a 23"×16" countertop solution for high-volume burger programs.

6. Heated Merchandisers

A full lineup including the Perfect Hold Deli Cases, Standard and Designer Series Heated Merchandisers, Metal Module displays, and Perfect Hold Cabinets — engineered to keep product hot, holding-temperature accurate, and visually selling at the impulse zone. Browse all Broaster equipment.

7. Accessory Equipment

The Model 620 Easy Breader, small and large marinating tubs, landing & dump tables, prep stations, the Oil Caddy shortening shuttle, the 765 Portable Filter (filters 65 lb of hot oil in under 5 minutes), and complete pressure and ventless fryer accessory kits.
